Despite it being a scorching hot day in Perth, the clear sunny sky was perfect for the Synergy Solar Car Challenge today. Our team of four Yr 6 students and Mrs Nancarrow went to St Mark's Anglican School to compete against 31 schools in the Northern Metro District. They were supported by a loud and proud MHPS parent and grandparent cheer squad.

The Mullaloo Heights team showed effective communication, collaboration and persistence. Their winning attitudes and smiles lasted all day, even when defeated by a millisecond in the sudden death race. Our team were able to hold their heads high, they felt disappointed but were gracious in defeat, shaking hands with the team that made it through to the next round, which was the Grand Final.

This has been our best result in the event so far. Well done to Mrs Nancarrow and the Pit Crew along with their families!
