On Thursday 6th March, we held our annual swimming carnival at Craigie Leisure Centre.  Although the weather was extremely hot students and teachers had an enjoyable day and made the most of the pool to keep cool!  The students in Year 4-6 participated in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly races as well as fun novelty events and relays. Students earnt points for their factions as well as receiving ribbons for their placings. We continued to have timed Championship races where students had the opportunity to earn points to win a medal. It was great to see so many students having a go at the various events and trying their best!  A highlight was the water playground and the free swim at the end! 

Thank you to all our parent helpers who assisted students and teachers on the day, without our helpers our carnival would not be able to go ahead so please know you are all very much appreciated.
