Principal's Message

Kaya families,

Welcome to the Term 1 Week 5 Newsletter which is filled with valuable information. I urge all families to read through it thoroughly to ensure you are across all the events coming up.

Congratulations to all our amazing swimmers who demonstrated incredible courage at the swimming carnival! The faction captains embraced their new roles with pride and led their teams admirably.

A special thanks goes to Mrs. Thorby, who works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the day runs smoothly. Of course, this event wouldn't be possible without the dedicated staff and the army of volunteers, both in and out of the water, who make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Enjoy browsing through the photos from the day later in this newsletter!

Are you familiar with our Communication Processes and Platforms at Mullaloo Heights Primary School? I ask all parents to review this document to stay informed about our communication processes and platforms. Your understanding and cooperation help us ensure smooth and effective communication within our school community.

Attendance really matters when it comes to learning at school, connecting and making friends and feeling that sense of belonging.

School Board

The 2025 School Board welcomed three new parent members. The first meeting was held on 19th February where the school budget was approved and the Chair and Secretary elected. I look forward to working closely with the school board this year.  The members are:

P&C

The 2025 P&C have held their first meeting and AGM where the new executive committee have been elected. The P&C provide a huge support to each and every family by subsidising all incursions and excursions as well as contributing to some big ticket items around the school including our large fan, chicken coup mural and nature playground. I urge all families to assist where they can in fundraising events or assisting in the canteen.  The executive committee are:
