Principal's Message
Kaya families,
And just like that, the holidays are over – welcome back to a brand-new school year. A special welcome to our new families and all the Kindy students who have commenced their education journey here at Mullaloo Heights. I will be hosting a Welcome Morning Tea for all new families on Wednesday 19th February, more information to follow.
It has been a remarkably smooth start to 2025 despite the hot weather. I have enjoyed seeing all the children settle into their new routines and begin their learning for this year. I would like to thank the teachers for the hours they put in over their summer holidays to make sure the classes were set up and the planning for 2025 was complete to ensure a positive start for all.

Talking to your school
If you have an enquiry or concern the best thing to do is to talk with your child's teacher first. You can then make time to meet with Mike Adlam (Deputy Principal) and myself if necessary. You may wish to use email for some enquiries although complex issues or matters that may take time to resolve will require face to face meetings. Teachers do not have time to respond to emails quickly as they are teaching during the day. Urgent matters should be directed through the school office.
Arriving at school
Students are not to arrive at school before 8.20am, this is for their own safety as there is no supervision by staff prior to this time. When they arrive at school they are to sit outside their classrooms until the doors open at 8.25am. Should you require before school care Zig Zag is operating out of Albatross block they can be contacted via email at admin@zigzagsoshc.com.au
Updating Contact Details
If you have had any changes to your contact details over the holidays, please update them via the front office. It is important that these are kept up to date.
