In our Health lessons late in Term 2, we had a large focus on when and how to be resilient. Room 11’s assembly showcased students’ self-made skits demonstrating examples of resilient and non-resilient behaviours in situations that primary school children might experience on a day-to-day basis. They also gave a rousing rendition of Taron Egerton’s cover of Elton John’s I’m Still Standing from the movie Sing!
Room 8 entertained us with an animated rendition of their Talk 4 Writing Narrative Text “The Enormous Crocodile” and warning song “Never Smile at a Crocodile. The children loved performing for their parents and the school. Everyone enjoyed the “Crocodile Rock” dance.

Sooooo much happening this term!
Keep your eyes peeled on the P&C Facebook page as keeping track of all the upcoming events is a full time job!
Thank you to all our P&C members and volunteers who do such a great job in their “free” time putting together events for the rest of us and our kids to enjoy!
If it wasn’t for your efforts we wouldn’t be able to subsidise or contribute to all the incursions, excursions, swimming lessons, Lego day prizes, Schoolastic Book Fair, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, sausage sizzle, cake stalls, teacher wish list items and everything else that we contribute to.
If you’ve thought about joining the P&C please do. We’re really cool, trust me.
