The year 3 and 5 students have shown resilience and persistence as they completed NAPLAN over the last two weeks. Students used our PCs and iPads to complete the tests and tried their very best which is all we can ask. Special thanks to Mr Adlam for coordinating the NAPLAN this year.
I would like to thank all parents and carers for their support as we navigate through the high case numbers of COVID-19 both in the community and within our school. We unfortunately have seen. Thank you for informing the school of household contacts, positive cases and keeping children at home when unwell. If you have not collected your child's box of free RATs please call into the office to collect.
The next two weeks have our PP - Y6 students participate in swimming lessons at Craigie Leisure Centre. This is a fabulous opportunity for students to improve their swimming and work with a different group of students as well as developing their independent skills making sure they have all their belongings with them and are able to manage themselves in the changing rooms. Parents, please support them by naming everything that they take to the pool.
A reminder to parents that before school we do not have any staff on duty, for this reason, please ensure your child gets to school no earlier than 8.25am when the classrooms open.
Take care and stay safe.

It’s been a busy start to Term 2 with the P&C putting on the Mothers Day stall for all the lovely mummies out there. We hope you enjoyed your gifts because the kids definitely enjoy picking them out just for you.
This week the P&C have organised all the events in relation to the Scholastic Book Fair. We hope all the kids have had a chance to get along to the library to see what has been happening each day and enjoyed dressing up yesterday! There were some great costumes out there.
Today is P&C Day and we wanted to take the opportunity to thank YOU because without even knowing it you’re a part of the P&C too! You support our fundraising events and calls for donations of this, that and the other and when we put out the call for volunteers you answer. So THANK YOU! Make sure your child receives a small chocolate being handed out by the teachers on behalf of the P&C today.
On P&C day a special mention must go to our wonderful volunteers who time and time again step up to run events which ultimately go to the benefit of our school and all our kids! So a big THANK YOU! We appreciate everything you do!
Lastly, don’t miss out on your Democracy Sausage tomorrow at school while casting your vote. Word on the street is they are the best in all of Mullaloo and there’s even cakes and drinks too so it covers all the food groups.
QKR (online canteen and fundraising app) is still a work in progress. We are at the final stages and are just awaiting final approval and will let you all know once it is ready to go.
